Well, I completed Taken By Passion, aka The Neverending Sex Story, around three a.m. New York time on Friday, September 28th. After an all-too-brief nap, I awoke to find an e-mail from my beloved editor, asking, yet again, where is the book?
I sweetly e-mailed her that I had completed the bloody thing, but I would feel much more comfortable reading through it one more time before I sent it to her. *sigh* It should have taken me two hours, three at the most.
Alas, events conspired against me. The topper was the lizard in the kitchen. Let us say moi was not the one who screamed like a little girl. Thankfully, Daniel has many other redeeming qualities, or I surely would have given him the boot for interrupting me. Not that Pierce wasn't doing his fair share, coming into my office and randomly asking silly questions. I mean, really! Everyone knows that you serve white wine with fish.
Once everything is said and done in the editorial offices, I believe you, my readers, shall be delighted. You see, darling Diana's story is not a short little story by any means. It did in fact turn into a novel.
Yes, I know. My entrancing characters surprised me as well. The delicious thing with these new e-books is an extended story does not send the publisher into a tizzy!
(All right, maybe a bit of a tizzy since I am so late!)
Anyway, knowing my beloved editor, she will devour the words within two or three days, then add her nuggets of wisdom. Once I hear from her, I'll be able to give you, my delightful readers, a solid date in which Taken By Passion will be released. I hope you find the wait worthwhile!
To your left, near the top of the page, is a little button that says 'Contact Me!' If you would like to be notified directly about any of my new releases, please fill out the form and check the box. Thank you so very much!

Just popping in to show off the cover for Secret #3, Taken By Passion. Or as Pierce refers to it, The Never-Ending Sex Story.
*sigh* No, it's not quite done yet. I promise, come hell or a hurricane, it will be released this month. Not only do I have Pierce mocking me (though I believe he's simply jealous because I named Diana's hero after my other 'personal assistant'), my precious editor is on the phone, questioning where the manuscript is.
My darling Diana's tale seemed so much shorter when I outlined the bugger. But when you have four people intimately enjoying themselves, things have a tendency to get...out of hand, so to speak.
Plus, Diana is a little more complex, in a sense. She's someone who left the BDSM scene after a bad experience with a dom, only to find the vanilla world doesn't suit her either. But even she learns some new tricks from a married couple in this book.
And I'll let you in on a little secret. One of Diana's three partners was introduced at the end of Micki's novella, Bound By Desire. Shhhh...
