The Next Big Thing

Hello, My Lovelies!

Fellow author Suzan Harden has nominated me for The Next Big Thing, where I answer questions about my latest work in progress. If you'd like to check out Suzan's answers, go to her blog Wild, Wicked & Wacky.

What is the working title of your next book?

I'm feverishly doing the last minute edits to Santa's Gift. Just took a few minutes to fill out this questionnaire.

Where did the idea come from for the book?

I was searching for a cover photo for another story when I stumbled across this delightful minx in a Santa hat (see photo to the left). My perverse mind took things from there.

What genre does your book fall under?

Erotic fantasy romance.

Which actors would you choose to play your characters in a movie rendition?

The young lady on my cover is definitely Sandra Nicholas, the current incarnation of Santa Claus. I see the delicious Chris Hemsworth as Scott Bowman, the human industrial engineer she must hire when the melting polar ice cap forces her to relocate her toy factories.

What is the one-sentence synopsis of your book?

With nothing but reindeer and elves for company, Santa needs her own sexy surpise, but what happens when she's the one gift-wrapped and wanting more?

Will your book be self-published or represented by an agency?

It will be published through Angry Sheep Publishing.

How long did it take you to write the first draft of your manuscript?

Roughly four weeks, but it's a novella.

What other books would you compare this story to within your genre?

My work is usually compared to Selena Kitt, Red Pheonix or Lyla Sinclair. This story's a little sweeter than my usual wont, but there's still hot sex in an elevator and creative uses of Christmas ribbon and reindeer harnesses.

Who or What inspired you to write this book?

As I said, I was searching for cover photo ideas for another book when I stumbled across this one. The idea for the opening scene popped into my head.

What else about your book might pique the reader’s interest?

If you need something to get you in the mood after a hard day of Christmas shopping, then this is the story for you!
